All you have to do is turn up! The recently refurbished getaway sleeps 7 people and features a two bedroom setting.

Designed for comfort there is a two bedroom setting we have;

Room One: 1 x Queen size bed.

Rooms Two: 2 x King Singles in a bunk bed formation plus 1 King Single.

Lounge Room: 1 pull out Double sofa.

The guest house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need including a bathroom, washing machine and relaxed living areas.

Where is the Tip Located?

Where to get fuel?

Orchid Beach Trading Post.
Key and Access to House

The keys will be in a lock box on the front door the code and instructions will be sent to you via email and or text prior to your arrival date .
Is there Drinking Water?

Yes , tank water 25000 litres. On the bench is a porcelain water purifier. Artesian bore water coming soon.
Is there Air Con or Fans?

Wall and ceiling fans coming soon. There are 3 pedestal fans and a ceiling fan in the lounge room. Wall and extra ceiling fans are coming soon.
Are there Cleaning Supplies?

Vacuum, broom, dust pan and brush, mop and mop bucket , toilet brush, chemical free floor cleaner, multi purpose surface cleaner , bath and shower cleaner, dishwashing and laundry detergent, toilet air freshener, Chux cloths, scourer sponge, tea towels
Is there WIFI?

No. The only internet coverage on the island is Telstra Mobile on your smart phone.
Is there a Washing Machine?

There is a Washing Machine, air drying rack and clothes line.
Are there linens and towels provided at the house?

Please bring your own linen towels and pillow slips. There are blankets and doonas and pillows.
What amenities are in the bathroom?

There is a hot water shower over bath. Soon this will be changed to shower only. There is also a vanity unit and toilet. Eco friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available in the shower via a dispenser.
Will the gas for the oven be on when guests arrive?

No. You will be given instructions with photos as it needs to be turned off when guests leave.
What is the closest shops for food and milk?

Orchid Beach Trading Post.
Best place to watch sunsets and sunrises?

Sunsets Wathumba or Sandy Cape. Sunrises Orchid Beach Marloo bay or Waddy Point.
What do we do if we run out of power?

Start the generator and run for approx. 1-2 hours
How do you start the Generator?

Turn key left as per instructions on the generator. Extra fuel is provided in the battery shed.
